Systems Architect & Technology Strategist
I started in immigration law the way most people do — at the bottom, learning the work document by document as a legal assistant and paralegal. What I found inside those firms wasn't just complex law. It was infrastructure held together by manual effort, tribal knowledge, and processes that hadn't scaled in years.
That gap became my career.
Over the next decade I moved from paralegal to Database Administrator to Program Manager to Director of Technology Innovation — each step deeper into the question of how you take a complex, regulated domain and make it run like a system instead of a series of judgment calls.
At WR Immigration I led the technology transformation of one of the country's top immigration law firms, architecting their Salesforce platform, designing the client experience layer, and serving as the bridge between what attorneys needed and what enterprise software could actually do. That work was featured in a Salesforce case study and a Service Council webinar — not because it was incremental, but because it was a genuine rethinking of how immigration firms operate.
Most recently I designed and built AVAT — an Automated Visa Assessment Tool that operates at the pre-filing decision point. No tool in the market does what AVAT does: extract data from uploaded documents, infer occupation classifications, look up prevailing wages, and return a multi-visa eligibility assessment in under 60 seconds. It exists because immigration law expertise and Salesforce architecture converged in the same person.
I now work independently through ParsedLogic, bringing this same approach to organizations sitting at the intersection of complex operations and technology. Immigration is where I built my expertise. But the core problem — organizations running 21st century workflows on outdated infrastructure — is everywhere.
